To being the  assignment there needs to be a plan. This plan includes planning the dimensions of the DVD cover and label.
I had measurements I had to follow but had to remember to include bleeds areas, which will help me later on when cutting the out so that its more precise.

DVD Label-                                                                    DVD Cover-
Had to be: 112 mm + 3mm bleed lines                       Had to be: 272mm + 3mm + 3mm- Width
Inside circle 42mm + 3mm                                                    "         :184mm+3mm+3mm- Height

 To create the DVD cover and label I used Adobe Photoshop CS5.
